Vick starts final preseason game

The Philadelphia Eagles will give quarterback Michael Vick the start in the team’s final preseason game.

The Eagles do not want to risk an injury to starter Kevin Kolb and would also like to get an extended look at Vick.

Vick has only seen playing time in the preseason or in the regular season for a few plays at a time.

It’s also an opportunity to possibly showcase Vick for a potential trade, and there are several teams in need of a quarterback.

With the disaster currently taking place in Arizona, you would think the Cardinals would be on the phone yesterday trying to bring in Vick.
